Sharing is caring and that is the only way to keep our scene, our community alive. I purchased a winpower model G-15c18d that was a civil defense unit that only has two hours on it. I must replace the fuel pump that is dried out. The schematic on the door covering the control panel is dried out and cracked beyond readable so if anyone can make a copy, take a photo or anything like that of the schematic, I would certainly appreciate it and be glad to pay for it. Also, if there is a operations manual or any documentation that someone has that would be willing to sell it or copy it, either way, I would be happy to pay for that also. The total specs are model G-15c18D, engine fa-1, ac generator, g15c180, model G2777, serial number m-1000-1002, volts 120/208, 240/416, KVA 18.75, amps 52.5, 3 phase, 4 wire. Any help that anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated. I searched and read all entries that I could find containing winpower and a few people said that winpower company had helped them. I called winpower and they were absolutely unhelpful saying that my unit built in 1959 was way too old for them to have any information on, that no information had been moved from Newton, Iowa, (I called service 507-357-6707), no schematics, no specs, no nothing. So if the ones that were helped by winpower could give me some contact information, I would appreciate that. I will be hoping and waiting for a reply. Although I've got no replies from my request, I did learn a lot by reading the posts and answers to other questions. I have my generator running now. It did not produce to start with. I tried many of the flash type suggestions that were on the board. None seemed to work, so I decided to tear into the generator and found that the brushes and their corresponding seats were badly corroded. After cleaning these with steel wool, I fired it up and immediately had current. I believe there is a auxillary 120 volt circuit that originally had one plug on the control panel that does not seem to go through any of the controls. I think it is coming from the exciter part of the generator and this seems to be the juice that was used by the previous owners. There is a subterminal at the side of the panel that has L1, L2, L3, ground. Which one of these is the most likely hookups for 220 power and can I use the third line for a separate 110 volt circuit. As I stated in my original post, the scamatic was badly damaged. After approximately 1/2 day with a can of glue and a pair of twizzors, I pieced as much as possible back together which is shown in the included photo although the definition is not good because of the limitation of the download.
